Formfeed as a Bannerbear alternative

Bannerbear is strong on marketing visuals: images, videos and a visual designer. Formfeed covers the image side with a canvas that writes an ordinary HTML template (beta), or with HTML and CSS you write yourself, and adds documents that run over several pages: HTML templates whose loops fill tables from your data and flow onto the next page, through the same API.

When Bannerbear fits better

If you need video or animated GIFs, Bannerbear makes them and Formfeed does not.

Switching in three steps

  1. Recreate the design on the canvas at the target size, from a starter or a blank canvas, or write it as HTML and CSS; Tailwind classes are supported.
  2. Public outputs are served from the CDN at an address without a signature, for as long as your plan keeps the file; for og:image, store the image with your page.
  3. Compare the renders with a test key, which is not metered, before you switch the live key.

Competitor details come from their public pages on the date above and are reviewed quarterly; tell us at hello@formfeed.dev if something changed.
